Educational Technology Project

The Educational Technology Project of Caras Alegres is designed to strengthen the digital skills of children and youth through a progressive and hands-on methodology, adapted to different learning levels. Classes are led by Yonatan, our technology teacher, who supports students in developing essential skills for both their present and future.

The program is structured into three levels, allowing each participant to progress gradually according to their knowledge and abilities:

Level A – Basic
An introduction to the use of technology with a focus on fine motor skills, device recognition, and basic hardware handling. This level lays the foundation for a safe and conscious use of technology.

Level B – Intermediate
Development of skills related to digital organization, file management, and productivity tools, fostering autonomy, organization, and responsible use of technology in the school environment.

Level C – Advanced
Introduction to concepts such as Computational Thinking, Artificial Intelligence, and Digital Security, promoting critical thinking, problem-solving, and an ethical understanding of the digital world.

The project includes a General Class Schedule with strategically allocated time for preventive maintenance of equipment, ensuring that the technology lab operates at optimal capacity and remains fully available for children and youth.
Through this project, Caras Alegres seeks to reduce the digital divide, strengthen academic learning, and provide students with key tools to navigate an increasingly technological world with confidence.
