Afternoon program

Our goal is to enhance the well-being of children in the community by providing a safe and nurturing environment. Come and see how we achieve this goal.

Afternoon program

The Caras Alegres Afternoon Program is designed for children and adolescents who, due to long working hours of their caregivers or the lack of support networks, do not have access to a safe and supervised space during the afternoon. Through a non-formal, play-based educational approach, the program offers artistic, sports, recreational, and psycho-emotional activities that strengthen self-esteem, emotional intelligence, resilience, and social values.

The program currently benefits 75 participants by providing a positive environment that reduces exposure to harmful behaviors such as delinquency, drug and alcohol use, and violence, while fostering healthy relationships and positive role models.
