ABOUT:
Caras Alegres Tarde
In the community of Las Rosas, many families face structural poverty. Many households are headed by a single parent, and parents often work long hours. As a result, many children and adolescents spend much of the afternoon without adult supervision or access to safe spaces, increasing their risk of exposure to violence or dropping out of school. To address this need, we created Caras Alegres Tarde, a non-formal education initiative that provides a safe, structured, and enriching environment after school.
